Horses are introduced to different scenarios: beach environments, the bush, formal arenas and so on. If the horses are racing,then they will experience the Geelong Track and barriers.

Pre Trainers are kept for six to eight weeks at Sterley Horsemanship Solutions' on a property just outside of Winchelsea, with the Geelong track close by. During their stay, fitness is built up to even pace with the use of interval training.

Float and barrier training is also included.
