STERLEY HORSEMANSHIP SOLUTIONS

A few years ago Justin at Sterley Horsemanship Solutions broke in my three year old WB X TB filly and then I spelled her for a year and took her back to him for three weeks of refresher training. During the six week breaking process Justin kept me up to date with progress and I came home with a confident, trusting, happy and calm horse. After the twelve month spell I returned her to Justin for three weeks, during this time I visited about a handful of times to ride her in the round yard, out in the very big open paddock and then down the road, including down and up the super steep driveway, past cattle, machinery and dogs rushing out and she never put a foot wrong. Throughout this process Justin was quietly and calmly explaining and guiding me about her thinking and what she would do if she was unsure of a situation. I returned home confidently to carry on with my perfectly well set up mare. Sadly I lost my beautiful girl to health complications that even the not even the best vets could cure. So over the last few months I have been venturing around the state trying to find my new perfect mount and it has made me really reflect on the brilliant work Justin does. My recent journey of trialling horses around the same age and level as my mare has really highlighted Justin’s great work, as to date I have not trialled anything that has such great ground manners, is as well-balanced, willing to move forward freely and confident.
